As I said in the earlier thread, the bespoke promise was one of the things that made me consider a Himel in the early days when I was discovering the hobby.
Have standards fallen or were they arbitrary? As you say Craig has high standards and is not afraid to voice his displeasure. It is the one person for whom you would better make sure the jacket is as good as possible.
I would also not be surprised, is he were instrumental in getting the remake...
Not surprising, he supposedly enjoys "torturing his jackets" according to his ex employee who got thrown under the bus shortly after that comment. But then again, the jackets cost him probably 10 - 15% of his asking price...
Most of the members are really interesting, that's the main part I think. I have made good friends through this forum. Which makes me think, I should organise another meetup in London this autumn maybe?
Not a bad idea lol
I know that there have been quite a few disagreements in this thread. But I am happy it has stayed civil and it is a very interesting thread with good information so far.
Edited for clarity
So, in the end he never had the guts to do what he said. i.e.. answering in the "chosen complaint platform" and he keeps posting rubbish on Instagram.
What a small man.
@Damon141 , I am sorry it ended up like this. I do not know how I would feel in your situation, but I can only repeat that I...
If we are to go by his Instagram posts, it is as you say.
Nobody is forcing him - or trying to - in any way, where did you see any obligation implied in my post?
He said something and is doing something else so far, that is plain to see.
The OP was told that he would get an answer on his chosen complaint platform was he not?
This thread is still going strong, and will keep doing so as long as Himel avoids posting here but continues posting on Instagram trying to justify himself.
The best way to end this thread would be for him...
Good question, Himel is trying to justify the bad jacket he sold the OP. He is trying to build support for his brand. So it is an indirect reply to the issue here.
Yes we all tend to defend our favourite brands, it is normal while other will point out the bad points - whether legitimate or not...
Indeed, he can also say the earth is flat or that such jackets are handmade products and as such inconsistent stitching is to be celebrated as a hand made product with no repercussions...
Edit: That reminds me of a story I heard in marketing in Italy. One of the biggest producers of canned tuna...
Let's see what Himel has to post now. I think everything that had to be said was said. No need to keep asking why the OP did not do things otherwise, why we did not point out things earlier, etc. It has all been explained.
No need to beat a dead horse.
Himel seems to be preparing his answer...
