    Broken-in Lost Worlds a Myth?

I see that @Carlos840 explained much better than I ever could. The leather is still the same, it just breaks in easier. that's it. There is no "it was better before" aspect in this instance. If Stuart wanted to make the old recipe, he would have to make a whole batch of leathers this way, and...

    Broken-in Lost Worlds a Myth?

The newer jackets break in quicker, but even older ones will break in with daily wear. This is my first LW, made with the older batch of leather that takes longer to break in: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/lost-worlds-suburban-one-year-in.90515/

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

The blue deer is not as dark as the blue HH Keep in mind that there is a variation between batches, this is probably two - three batches ago One good option would be to buy another batch from Kokkolan, but I guess they will not allow you to buy small quantity anymore? Simmons Bilt are...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Something like this then In which colour? :) I do not have any LW in this model - something I should address - so I cannot comment on the range of motion. Overall, as you say, LW jackets have good range of motion and deer should give you extra flexibility. When it comes to water repellence...

    Field Leathers

@Canuck Panda , if the FL patterns were similar to Thedi, I would have quite a few by now. We could not get the fit right with Greg back then, that is the reason I have no FL jackets. Thedi on the other hand, I have several as you know.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

This is looking great! It make a very good daiily wearer as far as I can see Agreed the shoulders looks way too pointy. I do not know if I will ever get a FL jacket that will fit me.

Footwear to go with our jackets

There are several factors and circumstances here. When a man starts getting interested in clothes - let's say from his own volition to keep it simple - he will geenrally either start with the jacket or the footwear. And then he might start expanding into the other items. It takes time to go...

Footwear to go with our jackets

This an interesting topic. Leather jackets are really versatile, they can look good in so many diffferent ways. I think it is more of making sure nothing else in your outfit clashed with it. Same could be said of boots and footwear, especially those we look at in this thread.. I think it is...

FS: Rivetts / Highwayman Motorcycle Leather Trousers (W32 L33 (ish))

Yeah this colour is a tough one to pull out, otherwise I would already have a jaclet in it. How about drawing something on it? You certailny have the skills! And it looks like a perfect canvas for whatever inspiration comes to you

FS: Rivetts / Highwayman Motorcycle Leather Trousers (W32 L33 (ish))

These look amazing! I would soak them in tea or coffee and wear them until they fade. Would the colour stick?

Just when you thought you had seen it all . . . (Warning: Not for the fainthearted)

These make for great inspiration. It is a fun challenge to take design cues from some of these jackets and make something nice! I am going to explore what else he made ;)

Not the same shade is a pass, not the same material - leather vs wool - is a pass, not the same model is a pass. You're good lol
