You have to put the conformer in the correct position with appropriate tightness--not so easy on oneself.... Some head shapes are more forgiving on this precision. I had a first time issue that wouldn't have happened if Art had done the conforming(and my semi-conical cranium). -

This is no longer the case. Most are all Beaver now(not best for all finishes) the premium is for the Velours and the Silverbelly(pure belly fur Beaver natural and dyed). Pressure from "perceived" superiority led to that , not necessarily better felts. -
