Thanks, my dudes!
Anyone would’ve had a hard time convincing me I’m a youngster today. 99 degrees in the shade while I was having to be on the sunny side of a sinking old home place jacking up the house and digging under it to put in new concrete block pylons. Almost near bear caught at noon...
Thanks, guys!
Twas a good B-day.
My wonderful Ma got me a bag of “special” groceries as a present.
pickled peppers, hot sauces, cashews, pickles, green olives, Bacon Bits, Italian sauce, pickled onions and Cheyenne powder.
Yeah, she spoiles me. :-)
New dove gray Borsa. Only had to shape it up some. The felt’s color was a nice surprise. The listing pics just ain’t always right, and this time, in my favor.
Looks fantastic, Terry!!! @T Jones Are you still hand stitching the binding on? If so, I can’t tell, but man, that’s allota work.
Edit: accidentally used the wrong post for this.
Mid 40s Whippet came to today with an open crown and no sign of being creased. I put in a dry bash for this photo and it shaped easily. Needs a serious bath, but not much else. I’ve had several Whippets from late40s/early 50s, but not earlier.
Has that blind top stitched binding I have still...
Headed uptown for some groceries and a PO stop. A Wormser I’ll also be selling to that guy who’ll fit it better than me. 7 1/8 hats make me ill. :-) too small, but only by a little.
Thanks, Mark!
I’m a big fan of The First Name In Hats and this was the first Majestic quality Adam I found years ago. I’ve had many since, but never found another with a pugeree.
‘30s Dobbs burg today. Beautiful Father’s Day. I had a great one!!
This hat looks like it was built yesterday, except where I had to hand stitch the unreeded sweatband back in. Odd that the original thread rotted and nothing else.
