If its your exact size (46)there is no doubt it will be good! I dont know how they handle grading a jacket and making different sizes .... cross fingers, and thank you for your appreciation :)
I used to have a J106, but sold it many years ago, not a bad jacket, but so many details I wasn’t comfortable with… plus, I realized I don’t like the cold skin contact of the CXL it was made of.
Thank you Mark!
You lucky dude, your jacket is a dream to see !
BTW I'm looking for a matching belt buckle... do you know where I could find one?
(At the moment, it's a repro)
I'm a Buco lover and the lucky owner of a few original pieces .
The One that started my love for the brand was unfortunately missing in my collection: the Buco J-71.
I've always been looking for the opportunity to find one on the internet with no success.... very sad.
Japanese repros exist but...
wow, I've pre-ordered this model (released in november), and I'm very anxious of the fit (I'm usually in between 44 and 46, and I ordered the 44)
what is your size and what did you order?
It's one of my all time favorites! I had it in size 44 wich was a bit too snug for me so I sold it. I also had one in size 48 (a bit too roomy ;-)
I now have a repro from LW, that I also use as my riding jacket.
I'll make a dedicated thread about it as soon as I find the time, but
I've sent my original BUco J-82 to Fivestars, so that they can use it as a base to re-create the Buco J-71, (which has the same pattern but no D-pocket).
They're on the process and have finished the pattern.
Fingers crossed...
