5* Buco J71 repro
I’ve been wanting this jacket from my early days of collecting jackets.
I’m so glad I took the chance to send an original for a remake…
I found myself a very nice jacket made in the us by Golden Bear, for a German brand « Leonard ».
This one is made of comfy lightweight cowhide, with a nice waxy touch, and has Scovill hardware all over, in great condition. It is also reinforced at the kidney by a ruff hide part.

wonder who was the contractor. Buco never worked fo HD (as Joseph Buegeleisen's son declared in Rin Tanaka's book) maybe Brooks or Reed did...
My only experience with them was having them reproduce a vintage I had, with only cosmetic customization. They did a great job, for a reasonable price.

And sorry: I didn't mention that I provides them with decorative studs and bucke. They obviously dont use to these so much.
