    That is a lovely belt. My thickest belts are 5 mm, and there is absolutely no issue with comfort. 5-8 mm is a pretty wide range; I'd get in touch with them regarding actual thickness before plunking down the cash. 5 mm is about 12-oz; anybody can get that thickness, and it is not worth the money...
