Sizing Recommendation for Aero Battle of Britain Jacket

31.5“ chest and pit to pit 18.75“ is a contradiction. Is the later of a jacket you own or how did you measure that? Also 19“ shoulders seem off too, that‘s what I get in my bigger jackets and I am 40“ chest, 165 lbs. First lesson here, imho, is maning sure you got your numbers right. Measuring...

    Vanson! Vanson! Vanson!

I just posted pictures of my 2022 Enfield and Tony of his new Mercury. Judge yöurself, I myself love it.

    Vanson! Vanson! Vanson!

If @ton312 has no tightness issues with the Mercury sleeves, neither will you. The Enfield has roomy sleeves as well, I own one and no issues

WTB: Looking for my one and done

Go check them out! They also have longer styles, e.g. the barncoat inspired Dakota. Definitely worth a visit, I wish I lived that close by.

WTB: Looking for my one and done

Vanson Enfield size 40 and you are done. Vansons leather is made to last, the fit is very functional, you can find them used for as little as 300 USD on ebay. Enfield would be my choice of style for casual off the bike wear, a Model B would work well too i guess if you can live with the more...

Buying: Lost Worlds or Johnson Leather jacket, preferably longer style

You are right, car coat/long half belt territory is what I am looking for. A LW Downtown coat would be a neat find. If someone offered a Suburban to me, I‘d take it all the same, even though it doesnt meet my criteria.

Buying: Lost Worlds or Johnson Leather jacket, preferably longer style

Looking for an addition to my wardrobe that offers something new and since I gifted away my Johnson Leather Bison coat, I don‘t own any longer style in the 26-30“ backlength ballpark. I am roughly a size 40 at 5‘10 170 lbs, looking for a LW or JL style preferably with: 26-30“ backlength, 22“...

    Aero Highwayman Premier

In all honesty? No Aero at all. They are just not comfortable to wear, far better alternatives out there. You could grab a Vanson Ike or Vanson Enfield for a casual center zip jacket, Vanson has their tough competition weight in black but if you prefer brown, they also have a selection of other...

Stay away from that style, diesnt work with your body shape. Neither different leather nor size will fix this.

    Aero Customer Service

My Teamster was alpaca-lined. Fine at 5-10°C. Any colder and I‘d need to layer some extra..

    Vanson! Vanson! Vanson!

This is the very batch of leather my Enfield is made of. After months of wear it looks fantastic with a grain very similar to old broken in jackets on ebay. That‘s a thing many people for some reason forget with Vanson. They expect new jacket to look the same as broken in ones but we all know...

    Vanson! Vanson! Vanson!

I am sure you did before, but would you mind posting some more fit pictures? I am eyeing that grey version as well as the light brown one but unsure whether 38 or 40 and whether I should order with shorter sleeves.

    Project: 5-Star Buco J-82

Right call. The pocket positioning was just fine to begin with. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.

    Project: 5-Star Buco J-82

Looking at these pictures, I‘d say the positioning is just fine, the top corner of the d-pocket is in very similar spot center south of the chest pockets (the position of which looks fine too). Dont get lost in details such as 0.5“ further left or right, the jacket is close enough.
