    I am not an expert in leather jackets like many others in this forum, but my impression is that Aero is the most popular “repro” maker. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell more jackets than the rest combined. Maybe it’s not true, but still I’d expect them to be the ones that sell more jackets...

    It is indeed a very apparent aesthetic difference, and as I say I want to believe that it’s the genuine maker’s intention to make it look like that and thus everybody wins: the maker produces what they want (and save some money) the buyer hopefully knows what they’re buying and like that...
