That crease is the Oreana, also known as the Montana Pinch with a mule kick in the back. I refurbished a couple of Westerns with that very crease. -

Yup. That's true enough. You have to get the dimensions just right for it look good. I'm a 7 1/4. So for me a 5 3/4 open crown and a brim width of 2 5/8 - 2 3/4 works perfect but may not work for somebody else. Block shape and crease type is also something to consider for someone's size and face... -

Here's a couple of old school Westerns that I refurbished. The lighter one is a 3X Resistol and the other one is a Knox Stagecoach. Both sport a Montana Pinch with a Mule Kick in the back. The Knox has a 7 inch open crown and a 4 1/2 inch brim width with a 1/4 pencil curl. Before and After... -
