Yeah, no kidding! Sheb Wooley sounds more Western than Pete Nolan!
Sheb also had a small role in the 1952 Western, "High Noon" along with Lee Van Cleef, (not pictured).
This is Lt. Chris Olivarez of the "Texas Department for Public Safety". I like this hat! A nice full Cattleman and the brim is curled just right, and not that 'shovel nose' creased brim. The crown and the brim are proportionate to the other. I know it's the typical modern Silverbelly Western...
That's an old pic, I see, after I cleaned it. This is an updated pic. I was able to save the original block shape. Notice how straight the sides are. They're vertical! So, the direction? How about something similar to Sheb Wooley's, 'Pete Nolan' hat from "Rawhide", (only a cleaner version)...

Well, the 3D printed block did what it was supposed to do. I blocked a heavyweight Western on it for @deadlyhandsome and it did a good job. I have a custom made 3D printed block, myself, that Randall Alan made for me. I've had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong.
That would be nice. Yeah, hopefully those prices will go down when they start their e commerce site. Everything from groceries to gas is just too high these days.
