The marketing for Fine Creek is so overwhelming that I saw someone recently (a regular person, not a store owner) basically say that the boomers on TFL hate on Fine Creek a lot.
The idea of "if it's made in Japan, it must be good" line of thinking is so incredibly strong in the raw...
I only use shoe trees for dress shoes/boots. I prefer to have the creases actually be visible in my casual boots. I just make sure to rest my boots at least one day before wearing them again and I brush and clean them consistently.
I handled this one in person last weekend. It's a beautiful piece. Just very bright colors. If you're into that, it's a nice jacket. Seller was a cool guy as well.
Yes this is the same jacket. Sometimes being short and wide is a good thing... sometimes.
Haha too kind. That said, I do really appreciate the wider shoulders and arms of these vintage jackets. They suit my physique much better than modern and Repro jackets do.
