@sougey
I think the most important bit os to manage your expectations. You will not get a jacket exactly as you envison it and it will not fit that way either.
With that out of the way, a jacket that has a good pattern will fit many different body types, yours included. So, my first advice...
Just a quick one, it is last minute, but I am planning to visit Wildfang tomorrow afternoon. If anyone is interested in coming, just send me a message so I can warn them :)
Sure, you did write you don't know him, and my message was just confirming that :)
He might not seem open minded for many reasons, but many people have peculiar ways of expressing their traits. lol
Stuart is one of those people you cannot really get a sense of before either meeting him or at least having a phone conversation with. He is very open minded.
Glad that helped you :)
Which colour and hide are you going for next?
I currently have 2 jackets in the queue, one that should be ready in a few weeks and another one for December normally
Glad to hear from you @Robbie79 !
My condolences and glad you recovered from this injury! I actually have another jacket in the works with Wildfang, so i will go pick it up at some point - I suspect early autumn. Shall we try to meet at their shop by then? :)
I don't remember exactly, but about double a normal pair. I bought them a few years ago, no idea what the ongoing prices are like nowadays. Croc is generally quite more expensive than the usual leathers. It was their usual last, only asked them if they could do leather which they did.
JL is great on or off the bike as you mentioned. They have an impressive pattern maker in house, and they have been supplying professionals for years. Same for Vanson and Langlitz.
I don’t think Aero has any of these credentials.
