    That hooch is a beauty! I love CXL too and I like it heavy and thick! Same goes with belts - I have a 7mm Samurai belt and a 12mm custom Latigo ‘gun belt thickness but dress belt width). It may be just me!

    I’d compare CXL to what we in the UK call stirrup leather or harness leather elsewhere - it is tanned then hot stuffed with wax and fats until saturation. The purpose is weather proof and extremely hard wearing

    Yes mate Vanson used to offer heavy HH (I vaguely recall Horween CXL but others can correct me). Rumors have it that Vanson has the best cut and couple that with a heavy HH I just have to experience it! I got it from a fellow lounger here

    I’m seeing so many new and near new aero jackets on sale here and on eBay - beautiful HH or SH only just started being broken in. So I can wonder why?? If it’s a used jacket I can understand fit can be off either due to it was tailored for someone else before, or owner physique has changed...

    Thank you very much. The sleeves look short on me too, plus the front - I'm almost 6 foot and would prefer jacket front covering at least half of belt width. It's a beautiful jacket though!
