So what are you known by at FPN, I'n DeaconKC there too.
I may have to carry my newest pen tomorrow. Just got a Pelikan 215 and it is soooooo nice. Just a little heavier than my 400 or 150, the extra just feels better.
RF, I've got my Dad's old 11-48. It also has the Polychoke, it was a factory option. I have a copy of the old manual for it. If you want me to make a copy for you, send me your address at deaconkc@mchsi.com
Good points anon'. Actually Rule #4 is "Always Know what is beyond your target." As always, safety first. As you emphasized the safe gun handler always treats all firearms as if loaded at ALL times.
I usually carry a Cross ATX for work, as it has metal to metal threads. If it gets rolled on, etc. it stands a very good chance of surviving. Either that or one of my Javelins or Waterman HD pens.
Went to Penney's today to pick up a pair of Florsheim's they ordered in for me. I had a pair like this 25 years ago and loved them. These were flimsy. Made me quite sad to see that even for $100.00 what once was a great brand has fallen off.
Suggestions for a nice half or demi boot in that...
1920s Ball Handled New Gillette Razor
Derby Extra blade
Vintage Erskine Badger brush
Superlather with Mama Bears Hydrogen and Bigelow cream
Aqua Velva Musk AS
3 passes with a very aggressive razor, not quite BBS but pretty good!
Oh ,and the Argie is a fine shooter, bites my hand pretty good though [fat paws]. It does not like HPs, but few guns from back then do without polishing on the ramps.
