I think in the end it's in the eye of the wearer. I know there are rules about which type of crown, brim width,bash etc, etc. that look best with the corresponding head shape, width and all that but in the end when you put the hat atop your head and walk out the door, it has to feel right... -

Fedora or Bowler
I would always say to wear what makes you feel most comfortable..... even though sometimes the reality doesn't match the image once the hat is on your head . Based on the photoshop I'd say the bowler might fit what you're going for..so give it a try..... -

I'm a 7.5 Dinerman, preferably LO. I think theer are a few others here with the same issue. My main source has been OFAS...Always vintage. Getting harder by the day though to come across one. So after a nice Champ got for cheap , I've backed off the search for awhile. -
