    That is one nice jacket. The only thing I do not like is their Ball+Chain zip closer. Aero's style B+L close is how they should have gone! (JMHO)[huh]

    G-1 ordered

    I have this jacket also, and it is a truly beautiful piece of leather, with soft, grainy goatskin and a small sized (the way they're suppose to be) mouton collar and just slightly aged leather at the edges. Best G-1 for the money, and I have a '68 original Ralph Edwards to compare it with!;)

    Sleeve shortening on a G-1?

    I've had sleeves shortened and tapered by local tailors (with+without knits) and they turned out very nice!

    Alpaca question

    +1! I have it in my all wool Aero HB (the grey colored alpaca) and I have no problem with it, and it is very nice for the colder weather.
