Only something wrong if you're the seller.;) Do you ever buy them at the Thrift Store and sell them on ebay?
Went to our local Thrift Store today but they said they just sold the only felt hat they had. I'll keep checking though.
This is my first attempt at bashing. It needs some refining but I think it looks better than it did. Now I am considering trimming the 4 " brim. Maybe down to 2.5 or 3". Any thoughts?
Thanks Dinerman
I will try bashing mine today. I think I will also need plenty of steam because the hat is VERY stiff. I'm trying for a teardrop crown. You got yours for a good price. I bought mine new and payed $75. That was a lot of money in 1980.
Think I might do something with mine.
I have a similar hat, also circa 1980, but mine is white and has a thin ribbon band instead of the feather band. It looks outdated now so I don't wear it.
I like what you did with yours. Did you use steam to change the bash?
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Just north of North Dakota. I like the hat you have on in your ad. Looks good on you.
