Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?
Interesting thread. What's disappeared during my lifetime? Vacuum tubes. 807's, 811A's, 572B's, 3-1000Z's, 3-500Z's, etc. OK, some of these are still available from Russian companies, but mostly the good Eimac tubes are no longer available. At least Vibroplex bugs are still available.- Earl Needham

All You Need to Know About Hat Etiquette
Oh that's GREAT! :eusa_clap When I walk into the local Western store, and remove my hat, they all instantly assume that I need my hat blocked, or cleaned, or something. They all wear the hats all the time, indoors or out. No idea to remove the cover while inside.- Earl Needham

However, I guess I can post it here -- our local Western store bought a TRUCKLOAD of Resistol 20X beaver felt Western hats, and I bought one -- $100! They told me they bought 2400 of them!
