A Smart Hat. Probably Pre WW2
What might the name of that western store with the truckload of 20X hats be?
Hi
Is this anything close?

I want one if it is, another $50 and it will look old West, not Urban Cowboy.

HiThere IS no "urban cowboy" here -- you either wear a hat, or you don't. Shape doesn't seem to matter. In fact, there is no URBAN here, either -- we're a hundred miles from Lubbock, a hundred miles from Amarillo, and TWO hundred miles from Albuquerque.
Yep, in that area hat decoration is dust or cotton gin lint.
Thanks, I have been to Joe's a few times when I was in that area but some reason I forgot about the Joe's-Clovis connection.
two new hats are arrived today the first one a Echter Mayser Grand Prix in gray
i think mid 1950 maybe early 1960
the other one a Wegener gray green mid 1970 to 1980
The Mayser are in very mint condition
Wegener lightly worn and in good condition
