Highanddry's Cascade kinda has a real flyer's jacket look to it (IMHO) with the American cuffs, collar and non-zip slash pockets. Nice take on the Cafe.
I think its a great looking M/C jacket and suspect a few different variations of it would look equally as good (for those who don't like pleats etc.) For me the look of the goatskin and its colour really contributes strongly. You mention that it is vegetable tanned. Is there no chrome tanning...
Peacoat, how would you describe the hand of the Enfield leather, dense? stiff?, spongy? soft? pliable?, waxy, oily? flat/smooth textured? etc.
Any chance of a close up shot or two? Very interested in leather character.

I also wonder what is the difference between...

Beautiful jacket!! One of the things I like about the look of the Enfield is the small collar, ...some collars on jackets are way to wide and when they lay down on your shoulders it looks like you have no manly shoulder width. Not so with the Enfield by the looks of things, pretty much the full...
I will be getting a quality moto jacket for the first time shortly and thought I would run the question by the members here for some solid advice.
Unfortunately I live in an area where there are no outlets for premium jackets, I actually don't think I have ever handled real quality leather...
