I find myself more and more drawn to "the Mallen streak", but am not yet ready to take the plunge. I've got red hair and this style of curl (kind of a mix of C-dot in terms of colour and Wrecking_Belle in terms of length and curl, but nowhere near as gorgeous as either one of them :(). Can...
Well, in my house the laundry is my job - but only because the Gentleman of the house has been unable to master the fine art of clothes sorting and tag reading before throwing into the washer and dryer. I think the idea that an article of clothing may require hand washing would give him the...
Thanks for the heads up, Emy!
I hope they start reprinting her other books, as they all seem to either be unavailable or be selling for super-silly prices.
Disney's adaptation? [huh] Doubt in that case he'll be smoking.
I loved this show, too, probably my favourite from that time period. I think because Kolchak was such a throwback to the 30's hardboiled reporter, and the music was great. Everything was a bit grainy and murky and that definitely...
Managed to score these super-comfy Oxfords from Clarks that I've been wanting:
BNIB from Ebay at about 1/2 the price - squee! I have them also in the spectator variation but of course black will go with everything.
Not annoying at all - you never know who you may be helping by talking about it (see below)...
:D The best spin on depression I've ever heard!
I've been "down" and in denial about it for what is no longer months but is actually years now and am trying to get up the energy and will to do...
Not exactly an a-lister but I was shocked to see what Lara Flynn Boyle has done to herself.

She was absolutely stunning, as were all of the Twin Peaks ladies, with that something extra. All...
As I grew up in the States I missed this one the first time around but I'm kind of addicted to this show now and the funkalicious theme tune makes me want to get up and do something macho - I don't know what but something, anything!

Blame it on the lead - that's what they keep telling me, but don't you believe it (inveterate backleader, guilty as charged)! It sounds like you've had some bad experiences with an impatient partner and that's a shame that that's put you off of dancing. How can anyone be expected to be good...
I'm so happy! I've finally enrolled on a 40's and 50's sewing course. Once it begins I'll probably be a right plague on this thread! (thread - no pun intended!)
Very thin the soles, you're right. I never wear mine outside the studio, but still managed to wear a hole through the inner edge of ball of foot within months. They just seem incredibly fragile for what we're expected to do in them.
I'm a pretty rubbish follow, but I keep plugging away! ;)
