For some reason I've been craving Peach Nehi, which I probably haven't had since I was 12 or something (i.e. before the Flood or thereabouts) - my mother is coming to visit me from the States next month and I've asked her to bring me some.
From here (for all of you retro and regional foodies)...
Same here - tried advanced search to filter out the -'80's-inspired-style-Mad Men-rockerbilly (sic) blah blah to no avail. If this is how it's going to stay, there's no point going on Ebay anymore for vintage.
I think your 1st link is not going where you intended it to go, Grant Fan. Fleur de Guerre's sporting a nice pair of cigarette pants in a recent blog entry (April 8)...

I think Freddie's of Pinewood has them, too...
Tell me about it! If I had the dosh, and actually had a hope in Hades of going on holiday anytime in the near future, I'd nab that one in a N.Y. second!
Last I heard Mr. Stallone was adamant that "Rocky Balboa" was the last hurrah. Don't get me wrong, I have an unreasoned fondness for the "Rocky" series. It runs the gamut from pretty durn good to craptastic. It entertains me. But it's not so much the fact of seeing him in those shorts at 75...

Reservoir Dogs
Operation: Daybreak (based on a true story, to boot)
Requiem for a Heavyweight - the main character...
Such sweet detailing, and I love the fact that the top is "anchored"; it must look neat and tidy no matter what movements you make? Lucky you to have been able to try that one on!
I have recently bought a pair of the Kates and they are pretty much comfortable for me straight off the bat, which is rare for me with shoes. They are absolutely gorgeous on, too, and the peeptoes are just that, a peep. I did have to change down one size, as they do run large (my toes kept...
Sheeplady, I apologise as well for a late response - I don't know how I missed your post! This is the link to the course, which starts next week - I'm so excited (but with a little bit of trepidation; as a novice sewer, it's going to be a helluva steep learning curve...)...
I've no idea really how one would dress for Parkour, but regarding the martial arts, most clubs (especially with the more traditional arts) will probably require a uniform (dobok, gi, mawashi...), often with club insignia, after a certain period. On the upside, you couldn't get any more vintage...
Well, I purchased a couple from the Salux shop - got them really quickly - and I must say, that it gives you skin soft as a puppy's tummy! It's a little voluminous to keep next to the tub, so I'll keep my trusty Buf-Puf for that and the Salux I can hang up in the shower. I'll have to try it...
