But it's all well-thought out and infinitely informative--a shining example in the genre of forum posting. (Am I laying it on a little too thick here? Stop me if I am :p )
No matter! That's what corsets are for, don cher know? I saw the new Rocky in NYC years back (and don't get me...
Ah ha! THANK YOU! I checked out his posts, but it only goes back through the last 500, and this was obviously earlier on. Edit: Actually the first pic was later. Ok, I guess I didn't think it through well when I started looking. :)
However, it may gratify Edward to know that my crush...
Romeo and Juliet is my favorite song by him. Makes me tear up a bit. I heard the Killers redid it, but I haven't heard their version. I also enjoy the Indigo Girls version as well.
Ok, don't make me look any more. You have over a thousand posts, and I can't possibly open ALL of them. I spent a good 20 minutes on this, I'll have you know. Twenty minutes that I should have been hard at work instead of trolling posts looking for a man with mascara on. :D
Spill where...
:offtopic: I love how it makes my skin feel, but I'm having trouble with the shade. The woman suggested Medium for my skin tone, which is fine for summer when I get a little darker, but now that my skin is lightening again, it's too dark. I'll have to go back and get a light color to mix it...
I, myself, have a little crush on Mr. Edward, because a) he does Rocky b) he enjoys little Britain, and c) I have yet to actually see what he looks like outside of makeup, which makes him mysterious--sort of like V in V for Vendetta. :p
It's my son's second Halloween, but since he was only a month old the first time, I'm considering it his first. I'm more excited about this than Christmas! He's going to be Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, and he just started walking, so my dream is to have him toddle up to a door and treat or...
Hmm, I do too sometimes, but it's often because steaming brings all that gunk to the surface that's in your skin. Are you scrubbing afterwards? Sometimes that can irritate your skin too. I usually use a light toner after I steam to wipe away the gunk without irritating my skin.
Not to be a downer, ladies, but coal tar is also considered a carcinogen so extended use of it is not recommended. I believe it even says that on Neutrogena's bottle. So, I think it's ok for short term usage, but I wouldn't keep using it every time you shampoo. I used to use it as well, but I...
That's extremely insensitive of your teacher. I got in the habit of wearing bandanas and scarves when I started to lose my hair from chemo, and even though my hair is back, I still find them fun to wear a lot. I guess my point is, she has no idea why you are wearing the bandana. For all she...
Oh my. I carry a tote bag for work because it fits my laptop in it, but here's what else was in there today:
cell phone
cigarettes (yes, I know, a terrible habit I'm trying to quit)
lighter
matches (just in case)
Badtz-Maru checkbook holder
wallet with cherry decoration holding cards...
When my mom first saw my lower back piece, she screamed, "You come from-a my body! You no get tattoo!":rage: *imagine the chinese accent*
But when my older sister got a "Made in Taiwan" tattooed on her behind, my mom actually smiled. Of course, she'd gotten used to all of mine by then :p
Me too. I know it's hard to see in the picture because of how my hands are, but I have only baby moons on my thumbs, and oddly, teeny tiny ones on my first and second fingers of only my right hand. [huh]
:offtopic: Not to intrude on a men's discussion,:o but I would have given my pinky finger to have seen Patrick Stewart play Othello in a version of the play with the races reversed. All of the other actors were black, except Stewart. I think it would have not ony been a treat, but also a fun...
Thank you auntdaisy and Red! I used a trick someone had mentioned earlier in the thread. I used those paper hole punch protectors. I picked up a container of them at the grocery store and cut them into fourths (thirds for the thumb). Then it was a rubberized basecoat, applying the stickers...
Ok, I tried out a vintage manicure last night. I took some pics, so please tell me (honestly!) how it looks. I don't think I did too bad for my first try. I had to reshape my nails (I usually prefer a square shape with rounded edges--which I call "squoval") and am not sure I got them as...
My father said I spent half of my childhood playing in large appliance boxes. I would make a submarine, or a car, and once a puppet theater. I made forts, and then when I was older, my dad actually built a playhouse for me out of multiple cardboard boxes which I used for YEARS. It even had an...
