I've had the opposite problem in the UK. I have a pair from the fifties and no optician I've spoken to will touch them because they're worried in case they break them. I'm sure if I forced my money upon them and insisted, they'd do it mind you lol
Oh I've had this too! I've had women cooing over something I've been wearing and I'm secretly thinking, "If only you knew it was from the 80's!" My modern shoes have fooled many people too.
It's like being Alice In Wonderland, isn't it?
There was a pub I used to go to years ago and when you went in the ladies loo, suddenly everything was smaller, it was truly bizarre!

Being tall, I do have a fascination with men who are taller than me. I've also encountered in the past, some nasty comments about my being, "So tall." like it's a terrible thing to be this height, but I...
Straight Seams
I'm sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere but I was reading a book yesterday and they gave a tip to keep seams straight.
Apply a thin layer of vaseline to the back of the leg, exactly where you wish the seam to lay and it should stay put.
I haven't tried it...
Oh I LOVE Lush! I have such a weakness for Karma it's ridiculous! Plus anything that is scented with ylang ylang, jasmine or patchouli.
I have also been using their Caca Rogue henna for a while now, I love it.
