    The $3500 Cap???

After digging around on Google, it seems rapper Grand Puba and others in the same crowd wore a lot of Polo items in the early '90s and the long-billed cap was a look they favored. ...so there you go.

    The $3500 Cap???

'Vintage' RL, maybe? If you look at other items the bidders have won, you'll see they're going after ~20 year old 'trendy' stuff. Maybe that cap was iconic at some point, possibly as a yacht team piece.

What was the last TV show you watched?

I've been enjoying Dexter immensely. Great writing and plot twists. Warning to the viewer, it follows the Showtime standard of nudity, language and violence, which is lots of all three.

    my Vintage rings

Indeed, where is it? It needs to be hosted somewhere on the web before you link to it. Judging from the URL that you posted, you might be trying to link it from your hard drive. It is possible to attach a file to a post, but I believe that you haven't posted enough to have that feature...

    Art Deco Magazine Rack

Pardon the fevered workings of a delusional mind, but here's a quick Photoshop edit of how it could look...not complete, of course. I am supposed to be working.

NOS USAAF ring - not a mark on it.

I've been looking for a ring to indicate my service for a while now. I wanted something unique and classic, but subtle. Air Force rings are a dime a dozen and aren't all that attractive. This one was inexpensive, it's sterling, and has a great design. I can wear it with anything I want, old...

Guards at Empire State Building given classic look

It warms the heart to see the guards appropriately attired and to hear that ugly drop ceilings are coming out and the ceilings the building was meant to have are being revealed after so many years.

    WWII tank unearthed

Rather appropriate time for it to be discovered! Jaques Littlefield, take note. This may be one you don't have!

If indy wore a watch, which one would it be?

Something with Incabloc or a copy of the system, such as Benrus' 'shock absorber'. See also: Novochoc, Parachoc, Kif, and Unisafe.

If indy wore a watch, which one would it be?

This is a question that can only be answered by George Lucas. Anything else is pure speculation.

Learning how to make my own A-2

Mark, you're doing GREAT! Keep working at this...you'll know you've arrived when you can put together an A-2 from raw materials. In the meantime, take on some repair work once you're confident you can do it.

    The Palm Beach suit thread

No doubts as to its authenticity. As to the era, most likely late '30s through '40s. Congrats!

    Deco Clock Crazy

VERY nice. I've got a '38 Telechron Olympic, it's on top of my '38 Airline in this photo. And a nicely restored example: Telechron made some fantastic clocks.

    New Indy Flick Poll

I was a combination of 3 and 4, but my boss offered to take me to see it and I didn't want to seem like a sourpuss...and nobody should turn down seeing a movie free. I enjoyed it. It's worth seeing in the theater. There are bits I didn't like and parts I liked, it's definitely part of the...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Just saw IJ IV. My boss wanted to see it and offered to take me along. Lots of fun, as all the IJ movies are. Better than ToD, on par with Raiders, but I don't think I'd hold it up to Last Crusade. Lots of little shocks and gags which play into the other films. There were bits and pieces...
