I was looking myself and settled for sullivan gloves. I believe that they can be nice, but I recieved two defective pairs.
QC is pretty much nonexistant or so it seems.
Customer care pretty awful too: I emailed them on Dec. 30 - no reaction so far. I had to call Paypal for help and am hoping...
I am in need of a little help:
I am looking for a vintage peacoat in kersey wool and all, but have odd body proportions (at least measured against people in days gone by).
I am almost 6.3', chest 39.5", shoulders 17.5 to 17.75", usual sleeve lenght 26.5 " (wrist covered).
Any recomandations...

I have trouble finding a vintage peacoat that would fit me.
I am about 6,3 feet tall with long Arms (26,5 to 27") but with narrowish shoulders (~17,5").
I hope that HPA might be able to help.
I don't usally simply because it's too warm to wear them comfortably and a thin merino is more conveniant.

This fabric is really heavy! Far to heavy to be used as a liner. I have chosen 420 gr/sqm (14 oz/sqf) , which was what was recommended by Sam of fieldleather.
That's still has some heft to it.
This is going to be my jacket soon - It is british made moleskin though.
When I was still riding in my mid-twenties I had a german made, moleskin-lined MC-Jacket. It was probably made in the 50ies. The moleskin was still in stellar shape. Good stuff - hence my choice for my new jacket.
