For me it was back in the mid-80's... when everyone else where wearing pastell-colored jackets with rolled up sleeves and short suit jackets, me and my buddy raided our grand-/parents clothes in storage and found cool jackets, shirts and coats from 1940-60's. We added cheep wool fedoras and felt...
Rubber Soul
Just a quick follow-up:
I got the boots back today with the rubber soles fitted. Man, they did a great job! :)
Very comfortable boots. Reccomended.

Thanks guys! Always nice to hear that the new lid does not make me look like a complete dork. :) The hat was actually about ¬?-size too big but a couple of 1/8 cork strips took care of that little problem
BT: Nope, I can't say I know of that shop but It's been ages since I visited Stockholm...
Black as night
Well, today I got my Eichap in the mail and I was happily surprised to find such a minimum worn, perfectly black, decent quality fedora.
I wish I knew more about this hat company because I wouldn't mind having this hat in a couple of other colors as well.
Brim is bound -...
Experimentation
My Eichap black fedora came today after all, after a quick cleanup and bash I decided to experiment with a couple of photos.
First set - Camera set to full auto. Natural light from window. Cloudy day outside. Hat placed on wood floor. Buzy background.
Second set: Neutral...
Oooh... This is good stuff! :eusa_clap Keep it coming!
I was hoping to have my new EICHAP black fedora today to experiment on, but the mailbox was empty. Maybe tomorrow.
Cheers

Reading the backlogs here at FL I often come across comments like:
"Sorry for the crappy photo..."
"The color is wrong in this shot..."
"The details are beautiful but unfortunatley they don't show up..."
Etc, etc.
In this day and age of digital cameras one would think that getting a...
I'm glad it was something you hadn't already read.
I like the look of the WPG "Irvin" and I'm thinking of getting one for the coming winter. Don't know why I haven't already - I've been an aviation buff for all my live and I live in a country where I could wear a jacket like that for 8 months...

Rufus, I understand your swedish perfectly... who cares about a few spelling errors. :)
I'm glad to hear that you have fond memories of Sweden. I live a bit further north then the places you visited but I can tell you that it only gets better, the further up you get. Military bicycles, yes...
Welcome to the Lounge, Rufus!
Wow! That's a beautiful B2. Congrats!
You know, yesterday we had snow in some parts of Sweden... You and your jacket are welcome to visit. :)

Ask me again in a couple of days. They where swamped right now. [huh]
Living in the age of the digital camera, I'll post photos as soon as I get them back. :)
Thinking about it, I'm sure I could have glued the soles on myself and saved me both time and money... oh, well. :o

Great information with color pictures and all. Thanks a million!
Reason I ask is not to put the patch on a jacket (even if that would look great), but I in the process of building a model kit of Walkers Curtiss P-36A - "Gold Bug" in 32nd scale and I was...
