Love Bach but can't play piano to save me life but I do play trumpet and make reproduction vintage guitars. Peacoat, this is my second Johnson Leathers jacket as well, my first was a naked cowhide bootlegger I purchased from another lounger. Alan makes unbelievable jackets.
I just picked up this Johnson Leathers jacket off of ebay. It's a reproduction of a vintage Monarch civilian flight jacket, made in Horween overdye black HH. I'll post more pic's when I get it.
Those pictures were taken the last time I wore it in the spring. When I tried it on for the first time since then yesterday, I had to pull the side buckles all the way tight and it looks like a kid wearing his dads coat. Hoping to build a new Aero Slim fit bootlegger or Maxwell.

I'm selling my Aero Bootlegger in FQHH Cordovan. It was made this January, but I've continued to lose weight and it's now to big, I've included my order spec's from Insurrection / Thurston Bros. I'm asking $800.00 for it + shipping to help finance my next Aero.
STYLE- Standard...
My bootlegger has the heavy weight tartan lining, it's not bulky but it's not very warm at all. Cold Chicago winter's don't work without some serious sweaters underneath.
Just wanted to chime in on the bleeding issue, I loved HD's Bootlegger so much I ordered a Cordovan FQHH. Mine did bleed a bit, I noticed one day after getting out of my car the light tan leather seat had a slight reddish cast. The bootlegger is an awesome jacket hope you get one.
