hatsdirect is up and running... It looks like you've got some problem with your network configuration.
Try changing your DNS configuration and use opendns.
go here and follow the instructions for your operating system.
I found the specification of the Federation:
SPECIFICATIONS
* A straight non tapered crown, 5.5" - 6" tall, proportional to hat size.
* Traditional 38mm (1 1/2") gro grain ribbon trim.
* "Open Crown", put your own "bash" or shape into the hat.
* Snap brim, will turn down...
It actually seems to be the same hat. The brown tone seems a bit reddish than my Fed DL, maybe this one is the regular Fed in mid brown.
The description says it's made in Akubra’s Imperial Quality fur felt, the deluxe is Eritage Quality. Anyone with a regular Fed could confirm the Imperial...

Which baby did you ride on our mountains? I've go an Honda CBR, but a 4-stroke engine isn't very good for mountain rides... I'm currently thinking about changing he CBR with a Guzzi 1200 sport...

Just wanted to share my experience. I bought his one and I found it to be quite good. Being made of cedar it's also good for keeping moths away from your hats ;)
Gray is quite a forgiving color, you can use a gray hat almost with everything.

Last year I found a cheap hat stretcher on eBay, no taper, made with cedar wood. I'll try to find out the seller name and post you some pics (as soon as I'll be able to post pics again...)
