    overalls in the 1940s and 50s?

    Patterns are always a good resource to find pictures. I just made a pair of 40's overalls. I keep meaning to take a picture for the "look what I made" thread. If I can get it together, I will try to take a picture of the pattern too and post it here. I guess that doesn't help you for 50's...

    I think a red hat would be gorgeous. Especially one with a nice wide brim. And a poinsetta bouquet would also be lovely. When my sister got married at Christmastime, I made her a silk flower bouquet. I took a large poinsetta and added more poinsetta petals around it to make an extra grand...

    Try a friend My lovely sister took the picture for my avatar. I just printed out old publicity stills from online to get ideas for poses. Then we made the photos black and white on the computer. Not too shabby...and free!
