Much appreciated. I'm going to be staying downtown on Saturday and was planning on stopping by Hatworks to check it out. Sounds like it would be worthwhile. Not sure if I will get out to Hillcrest, but may have to make a special trip. Any other stores in the area that I should take a look...
Thanks for the review; not a ringing endorsement by any means. I guess I'll go in and just see what they have without any ral expectations.
I appreciate the feedback. :)

Been searching the forum but haven't been able to find an answer to my question regarding the Village Hat Shop. They have quite a good selection on-line, but how does it compare to their in-store selection? Any forum members been to a Village Hat location for comparison? I will be in San...
Hello All, I just wanted to formally introduce myself since I have been mostly lurking here over the past few weeks. Did start posting some noob questions but mostly drinking in the information. Live in the west San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and arrived at the Lounge via the Badger &...
Mustang,

Thank you all for your recommendations. I will definitely try out as many of the retailers as I can. Fedora Lounge looks like fun, with a wealth of info.

I live in the Los Angeles area, West San Fernando Valley, and I am looking for my first Fedora. It's what I told my wife I would like for my birthday. Anyway, I am looking for a local retailer where I could try some hats on and see what looks good on my head. Any suggestions?
Thanks so...
