In the "search thread" drop-down, inside a thread, the text is very light for the "blackend" theme. I have trouble seeing what I've typed. Thanks for all the hard work! Ken- kenmcneill

I tend to agree, not quite enough contrast for these old eyes. I don't know that you need to go all the way to white, but the #ccc in the sidebar would be better, IMO. The only other suggestion is to tweak the color of the text or icon for new posts/threads. I have trouble picking them out...- kenmcneill

Campdraft in silverbelly. Very pleased with this one, my third Akubra. Felt is lighter and smoother to the touch than either my Angler or Coober Pedy. Thanks Randy. Both hats are from David Morgan, who have there own trim versions for some of the hats. The Aussie version of the Coober Pedy does come with a leather band, as well as a small opal. I've not see that version in person, but I really like the thin ribbon - a very understated look...- kenmcneill

What's the Right Hat for fishing?
My new Angler came in this morning with the curled brim, which I hadn't expected from the pictures. With the encouragement of Jim's post, the curl is now gone and my Akubra is ready to hit the streams here in NC. Ken- kenmcneill
