I got into the serials years ago at Saturday morning cinema for the kids.
I currently seek out some old ones just for me to get all nostalgeee about....'The Perils Of Pauline', the Evelyn Knapp version serial is amazing, it has the 1929 flight of the Dornier, 12 X engined seaplane in it, great...
Hi,
It was reenactment supplier in Wales, in Gt. Britain. It is a superb coat, not perhaps in the selective clothing market, but, very suitable for me to wear. It goes so well with the fedora though....Not too sure whether I am allowed to post the website, but, I will try it....[huh]...
'RAP', well, the reason it's in capital letters is, that a lady of dubious age lives nextdoor but one, and she plays 'RAP', soooo loudly, from 8.00 am until sunset, when her three, under five, kids go to bed. I feel so sorry for them, she cannot hear them screaming, we can though, she doesn't...
Straight Bushmills Irish Whiskey, fell in love with it in Bantry Bay, Ireland some years back, cannot get enough when it's on special discount at the supermarket......I would take water with it, but, it's so difficult to find any decent H2O these days without resorting to money again.......[huh]
I play stringed stuff a whole lot, but own nothing ancient, but, a guy who sometimes sits in with the band on a Sunday lunchtime, collects old Jazz styled guitars. I have never seen all of them together, as he has a pile of money and, as you say, keeps them stashed in a temperature controlled...

I'm a bowin' an' a scrapin' folks...

I guessed there was a 'here I am' post placement thingie on here somewhere, and sure enough, here it is...:eusa_doh:
I reside on the far East Coast of Gt. Britain, closing in on retirement age these days, but, I suppose we all are...
A Great Coat...
I have mentioned this on here somewhere else, but, a few years ago I purchased a Dark Green fedora hat, the wife asked me when I would wear it, well, it is hard to get me out of it now. It is a way of life these days.....I needed a coat to match.
I had, many years ago, a...
The Great Coat...
I just found hidden belt loops in the rear quarters, this is something new, evidently, one can sling a belt around yourself inside the coat, exiting either side, to enable buckles and so on, to be on the outside, very clever, but, not for me...
I like the traditional coat....:D
A Great Coat.
This is my first post on this site, so bear with me please.
Yesterday I took receipt of a brand new, made in Germany from original patterns, M36, WW2 German greatcoat. I will post some pictures eventually, but, the wifely woman is out and I don't know how to do it, well that's...
