I think Wonder Boy should be included certainly! You could even include The Savoy Special from the same movie.
This may be a stretch, but how about Sam's piano from Casablanca? Maybe blueprints for the Tucker Torpedo or the baby buggy from The Untouchables? ;)
I heard on the radio this morning that all of the air travel is being delayed because all of it is controlled trough Miramar, near San Diego. The fires were so close that they had to run from the bldg! That is really close to Flightsuits, yipes!
I don't know. The very idea of the Phantom, A guy running around in the jungle wearing a purple jumpsuit, jackboots and a mask always semed kind've silly to me. It makes about as much sense as a guy running around in the jungle (or the Sahara desert) wearing a leather jacket and a fur-felt...
Re: Re: Stogie mag hunt
Sergei,
Do you buy them online or do you pick them up when travelling? I have kicked the idea of buying a humidor around for awhile now and keeping cigars on hand. Right now I usually buy then for special occasions and there are always a few that go unsmoked and...
I must admit that I am a fan of Grey Goose vodka as well. The fact that it is made in France has its advantages though. If you get good and loaded on Grey Goose and then try to handle a firearm, you'll immediatly drop it and raise your hands in the air!:D

Thanx Sergei,
I don't think I can make it though. Since I'll be @ the Vintage Expo on Saturday, I'll need a day to relax. I've been burning the candle @ both ends lately and I was lucky to get a day off of work to hike with you guys last week. I do want to see that hat in person soon though.

I know I'll probably take some heat for this but I liked Pearl Harbor. I guess I would make a pretty poor film critic, but I've been burned so many times getting my hopes up for a movie, that now I just look for elements of films that I like.
The dynamic duo of Bruckhiemer and Bay tried to...
The felt "felt" good to me!:) It felt thinner them my PB2. I like the thin felt for an Indy hat, but for a grey one I think I prefer the heavier felt.

Very cool Matt,
After seeing your lid Saturday, I called Optimo and talked to Kevin today. Unfortunatly he is out of LaSalle Grey in 7 1/2 :( , but he still has Mercury and Charcoal. He's sending me some felt samples today so hopefully there will be one that I like. Otherwise maybe I'll wait...
Hey Doc, it's no wonder your expo hasn't softened up yet if you are hanging it up in your car instead of wearing it when you drive!
Thanx again for the new hanger Koreana (BTW whatever happened to One Coll Asian?)
PBG
Matt,
If you want, let me know the address and I can chase down that lead! I can see a blue pinstipe in my future and this fellow may have just the ticket!
PBG
Wow, look who finally poked his head up! Nice to see you around here Patterson. Your new jacket sounds very intriquing. I'm looking forwar to seeing it.
BTW, I still have your WPG crusher cap to return to you so don't disappear agiain.

I can relate. I had no love for GW or Gore in the last presidental election so I voted for Nader. I was embaressed for my country that our 2 party system couldn't field better candidates.
I still stand by my earlier post in that I want a non-politico in Sacramento. I think that the mess is so...
Looks great Adam! A few months back I bid on a vintage Stetson on Ebay that was the same color as this hat. (I was outbid in the last 4 seconds) This may be a color I look into buying in the future.

I'm voting for Arnold, for the reason that I posted on the old Lounge. I'm sick and tired of "career politicians". I hear people say, "I'm not voting for Arnold because he has no political experience." I just want to smack them. It's very clear (at least to me) that our political system is...
