Mister Deckard, are the curled sides supposed to go on the outside of the collar?
Do i get it right that the straight side -------- generally goes in front
and the "flat-v shaped" side __ __ goes on the backside?

Is there a way...
Wow!
Awesome website, thanks for sharing! I really enjoy the shows, i had no clue it existed online.
Is there any swingjazzshows or is it only dramas and such? I would like to host a lindy hop homeparty with old swing radioprograms booming out :)
I only know of "Radio dismuke", but its not...
Good idea, but what fabric (whites)
True, and expensive too on Ebay.. So if i want to make a pair of swank white evening spats, what fabric should i make them in do you think?
Wool just makes me think that my feet would melt on the dancefloor?
Maby a thinner woolly fabric, or...
Move the buttons
And it sure did Drownman! You in your spats looked good (and me in my fresh-out-the-box Old Town Highwaists and waistcoat). :)
I recently bought a pair of light brown wolly spats (and these matches perfect w. my redbrown wingtip shoes), and they are SOO nice and warm in the...
Pretty Neat!
I have done some etching (i think its called), fun to see these.
You could clean them w alcohol and soft cloth to get that old printink off,
and get a smoother print. Do you have more than these two?
Hm intresting tips on spotting vintage clothes from the 30´s!

Some month ago i bought my first fedora in an antique shop,

For me its like...
- Daily thing:45 minutes. Shower, Shave, carefull upper lip-shave, grooming, choosing hat, matching clothes

Hej tank!
Thanks for the response.
Yes it seems that mens patterns are a bit rare, but they exist.
I think it is a shame that theese few original vintage patterns
are kept in one persons drawer instead of being sewn up by
retro style lovers all over the globe. (maby i should start a...
Concidering this maby being controversial and the risk of me being slaugthered by ebay-sellers, i am going to ask this question out of carefull ignorance?;)
Is anyone interested in swapping vintage sewing patterns electronically? Maby it is to difficult to scan anyway, but i was curious on...
It's always a thrilling (nervous) adventure to find the right hairdresser
to do your vintage hair.
In stockholm i have a hairdresser who specializes
in vintage hairdos, but in copenhagen i had to find an oldschool barber..
and this worked. My general suggestion: Rather go to oldtimer barbers...

I just attended my little sisters wedding shining in my

Here's my two cents.
Glooming with my black...
What i would be...

Traveling all over europe in the prewar years and playing exotic rhumba and swing at the most exclusive casinos and bars. Getting, fame, fortune, freinds and seducing hot divas. :p
