LOL gone already @Monitor
I would have thought a Brooks Gold Label would be a great alternative to an actual Buco. There are enough of them around for you to pick a nice one at a decent price. Sure the back is quite different but its still a great style.
So we've see the stock Storm Cuffs, Zipper Cuffs and now Button Cuffs on the Bootlegger!
All 3 seem to work really well with the style but think I like these buttons cuff the best though.
Any shots of the Teamster back?
Thanks for the enabling guys, I can always count on you!!
But seriously, I was supposed to sell 2 jackets before buying this one [emoji23]
At least one is listed so I’m almost half way there right? So maybe in the future but not right now....the espresso colour does look really nice...
Thanks guys.
I’ve been trying it on with various thick hoodies, sweaters etc that I would wear under it and I think it’s just right, it’s almost identical in measurements to my Navy Board Racer size 42
......the only problem now is there is a very small voice whispering....what about a...
Thedi Buffalo Quilted Phenix in Caffe courtesy of Thurston Bros.
Definitely a more relaxed fit for me (size Large) but this is specifically to layer under, something I couldn’t really do in the Medium I had previously. Despite that my head is screaming “It’s too big! Size down!” and “You can...
True, that could work, I just don’t think the premier fit is great for a muscular build.
On another note, wearing Black ELMC Californian today....and a familiar box has been delivered!
Definitely have that “excited yet reluctant to open it” feeling ..... really hope the colour is what I’m...
I’ll be honest @ton312 that is a great catch for the price you paid.
A custom premier Highwayman will cost a bomb compared to that and I just don’t think the narrow shoulders of the premier fit will work well for you.
Looks great @Fonzie
I really like the brown zipper tape to go with the brown base!
I’ve got that on my Diamond Sportwear J-100 as well, looks great once you get a little of the brown base showing through.
He does have a waxing (or washing) technique that makes leather look aged but it’s not “distressing” in the typical sense. (From what I understand anyway).
But that’s a specific leather style request, he definitely does untreated leather as well.
This is the only way I could be taken into the Thedi store without blowing every cent I own. I'd need my mouth gagged as well so I couldn't just shout orders at them.....
@Fonzie only 1 of all of those lol!!
TFL effect in full swing!
I forgot you had a j-100 in the Blackened Brown Vicenza, would love to hear your thoughts on the leather.
eBay is still king for buyers imo but now i get really nervous listing anything there. I've actually considered videoing myself packing the jacket showing the condition and the buyers address etc in case someone tries to scam me...not sure if it would help though?
I've bought off grailed, no...
My Flat Head CR is one of my favourites....its such a nice jacket...what a shame they are going under!
@Arizor nice looking jacket in a relaxed fit....I think its the angle in the first picture that makes it look long, in the last picture its not covering his jeans front pockets.
@dan_t I've got a 42 BR if you want to try it on for sizing.
It fits quite similar in the shoulders and chest as my 38 CR...but the CR is tighter in the body even with 0.5 inch added to each side.
