I should add that on the collar of the coat, there are stitch-lined cutout holes for the screw-back globe insignia to be attached. My main question is whether it is WW2 or later. Any help is great help! Thanks guys!

Nick

Hi all,
I bought a Marine Corps type Alpha dress green uniform at a garage sale today. The man that I bought it from claimed that it was his uncle's from WW2. I believe his story because he also had his dad's 94th infantry Class A dress tunic to accompany (He didn't want to part with that...
Cool! Thanks!
Did production of these types of coats continue into the post-war/korean war era and beyond? Or was their production such that if you buy one, you know you're getting one from WW2 or before? I would really like to get ahold of one of these, but have made the mistake before of...
Hey all,

Hi all,
As some of you know I like to garage sale on weekends, searching for treasures from World War 2. Today, while out visiting garage sales, I came across the sale of a guy who had had a sale in the spring. He had told me then that he had WW2 memorabilia but that it was in his storage...
The purpose of posting this thread was to draw attention to a particular event that is happening in our country pertaining to our World War 2 vets who fought to keep you and I free. I will not impose my political or religious views however some might agree with me that it is a big deal when a...
Hey guys,
