It started getting cold today so I wore a nice cotton sweater with 40s tie and tie clasp, modern HSM slacks, and my personal favorite part of the outfit, a 20s belt with monogrammed G belt buckle
For some reason, G is like the hardest letter to find.
I'm noticing in these photos that a lot of the more conservative "middle aged man" suits are cut very similar to modern classic fit suits sold today. The length of the vest and the rise of the trousers are the most obvious traits to me.
I've never gotten an Indy comment either, but curiously I have received several James Bond comments so I guess it's something?
But on the topic at hand here is my Carbon Gray FED IV
You can't see it here, but there's actually a tilt to the brim.
Wow thanks for showing me Magnolia, never knew of that
Paul Fredrick has some very nice patterns of dress shirts and ties and I like that you can order a three piece double breasted suit

Received what I believe to be a 1910s-1920s fur lined ulster. There's some moth damage on the right skirt but that doesn't really stop me from wearing the thing.
Even the sleeves are lined in mink!
Nothing vintage here, but I had a job interview at Dillard's yesterday and I thought I'd post what I wore. Sorry for bad quality.
Got hired on the spot, by the way.
