These are reproduction Dienst-Brille German glasses that I got from Hessen Antique. Gonna get them fitted with prescription lenses after a trip to the doc.

You swap the buttons and open the buttonholes. At the moment, it's set for men, but there are closed buttonholes so it can be a women's coat as well. Rather interesting way to make unisex clothing, I think.
I was more or less trying to ask whether the waistcoat should match the trousers or the jacket.
I've decided on trousers, as I personally think it matches better.
I always use a mix. Small bit of Murray's with a good amount of Suave Groom 'n' Clean goes a long way.
On top of that, my new haircut (Thanks sister) makes it much easier to style.
And if I need any shine, a small dab of Brylcreem does just the thing.

Back on the topic of militaria, I bought a US Army service jacket a while ago, and here are the pictures from eBay (no ability to take my own plus laziness)...
