Are cell phones the new pocket watch?
I am the only one amongst my friends wearing a wristwatch intsead of using the cellphone, and they think of themselves to be very practical. But then came the day when we were on an airplane and someone wanted to know the time... I am now higher in the practicality foodchain :D- mackenzie

I made the pattern. I used some pics from the 40's sears catalog repro for inspiration. Glad you like them. My man goes crazy for them, he bought me the fabric from ebay. It's really heavy almost like cardboard with redline selvage.- mackenzie

In Sweden most supermarkets still carry LUX. It dries out my skin compleatly. I can't believe people used to put it on their face. It smells divine though... -

I always use a cotton band ( like the ones the use to hem mens pants here in europe). It gives a cleaner finish when you hem a skirt. I sew it on the bottom on the outside, fold it to the wrong side (as high as you want) and handstich it. It looks nicer and I find that the dress/ skirt falls...- mackenzie

Yes I got that to. but I liked it, I'm blesses with really long eyelashes, and I hate it when they get clumpy from the mascara. I just use my eyelash curler before. and I read somewhere that for thickness you are supposed to do layers with this 30's one.
