    I have not had any since about 1990 but Poit Dubh was my favorite when I lived in Scotland. Only one pub near me had it and they had to get someone who spoke Gaelic to order it because the distillery would hang up if they spoke English on the phone.

    Single ply cotton yarn that is tightly spun for the warp would be hard to find. I doubt that there would be enough of a cash savings to justify the time expended unless there is NO source for the fabric you want. If you need to spin your own yarn your time expended would be extreme.

    If you have a jeep the RR conversion just involves extra spare tire mounts and flanged steel wheels. They could be used as a switcher for freight cars or for hauling small loads.

    New Years Eve I worked with the Sheriff's Office giving people free rides home. We were designated drivers for 71 people as well as providing extra security to the congested areas.
