I know that jacket was not under your cushion I saw this jacket and was impressed. The leather was impressive. The size was my only issue. I would appreciate posting more pics in the thread of the past. This is an interesting jacket.
I have the same goal. Collecting is a time travel you just keep moving, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. I'm actually working my way back In time. My favorite Tauber's trucker is probably from the early 80s. I don't discriminate by time.

One of the perils of buying vintage is the word mint. This is an alarm bell. Mint jackets exist , But rarely.

Here is the Sierra half-belt. Made mid 1940s, heavy horsehide. Not like a CSC at all, not like a Ralphs-Pugh, more like a Roughwear I own. This is very different leather, more workman. It is just unique in fit and feel. One of the best fitting jackets I have encountered.
Nice to see a fit pic, I can't wear mine. Such fine leather, I just bought mine for that.
Sierra must have been a maker given the number of jacket styles they made. The A2 I posted above is not like any other maker, just a bit unique. They did different styles that don't resemble another...
