Its not what you wear but how you wear it. I don't really dress vintage, cept for the hat and coat. People do like my hat tho. Gals back in the 40's, now they had it goin on. That style is teh win!!
1970s and 1980s hands down. Don't get me wrong, I love the pop culture from that time but everything else was horrible. Cool cars were very far and few between. Everything is boring now, but at least it's not gaudy like back then.
As much as I love restored originals I also like performance. I like upgrades that help performance, safety and longevity of the vehicle. As long as I can swap it back to stock, I'll modify without too much hacking. I like it to look stock, but drive waaay better than new.
My buddy picked up an old A that was a drag car in the 60s. I'm a huge fan of Rat Rods myself, or any home built rod really. Now I need the space to work on one:(
Great info!! I always figured that it would be better in a percolator because it is always "re-brewing" through the grounds. I like strong coffee but the flavor has to be good. Now I'm contemplating what type to get once Mr. Coffee craps the bed. I have an old percolator, but I've only used...
I'm not sure if I can pin it down. Cars probably. I've always loved old cars. I've got a 1970 chevelle, I've restored a 1971. My first car was my grandparents old 1973 Delta 88 (my baby) and I have a couple more. Of course I don't thing American car companies made any bad cars until 73. I...
Yeah, there's a 2009 kirby in the local paper for $400 I've thought about getting. It would be nice to have an upright and canisters. I actually had a filter queen salesman come to our house. When he wanted to see what vacuum I used he was disappointed because he knew you buy em once for a...
Filter Queen!
I've got 2 filter queens. One is I'm guessing around 50yrs old while the other 20?? They both have crazy amounts of suction, however they aren't as convenient as an upright. Also, they need to be emptied all the time because they do trap so much dirt/dust. I would like a new...
Sure, but there are soo many aftermarket parts for the panther chassis. My 95 town car has cross drilled rotors, addco swaybars, poly bushings, custom computer chip, marauder airbox/maf. I also have an 1982 Crown Vic 2dr with 60k, but thats my rat-rod. Shoot me any questions, I'd be glad to...
I must find that Kaywoodie streamliner!!!! That is one awesome pipe! I want to pick up another Dr. Grabow and paint it satin black and have it pinstriped. I've always thought that'd be kewl.
Not able to get to bed when I was about 10 or so in the early 90s I was messing with my radio and found 1040 W.H.O. out of DesMoines Iowa. It made it to Westerville O.H. They had a show called Rejection Slip Theater and a new show featuring Artie Azettie?? Anyways, I'd listen to that and...
