Rebashing Modern Stetsons, Dobbs, etc.
They all look good and are somewhat "straighter " looking crqwn wise but are not the 30's look IMHO. You need to get some Adventurer or Federation Akubra's and cut the brims down and put C-crown or Teardrop creases in 'em to get that look. -

I have three variations of grey hats Akubra makes, a Charcoal Grey Sydney ( dark black/grey), a Mid-Grey Squatter (an honest grey with some blue to it) and a Carbon Grey Stylemaster ( a darker blue grey) and wear them with just about most of my brown/earth shades as well as blue/grey/black... -

Since these hats were sold in Australia, it would be up to the members from OZ who might come across 'em to post about 'em. Word I've read from OZ is folks down there mostly WEAR their hats so not many are found to collect :) I've seen a few and they are NOT any different than the current CD... -

I don't use a pump and I used to drink before and lots of things went wrong. Haven't had a drink in 36 years now. So for me, a cuppa will do just fine :) -
