That is correct, Fed. I tried to order a 59 F4D based on what I read here. They recommended a 60 for my 58.5 head. I figured they must know so I ordered the 60. Ended up returning it at my cost after demonstrating it fell down over my ears. 59 F4D and CDD fit great with a bit of foam for grip...

Indeed. I prefer this formation to the more common 4-vertex diamond because in some Asian traditions, the number 4 is an unlucky or inauspicious number.
Here's a shot of the penta-bash I was trying on my Akubra Fed VI Deluxe. Ultimately I gave the creases at the top a bit more definition. I've been very pleased with this shape.
The felt of my Fed IV Deluxe feels very much like that of my Campdraft Deluxe. The only difference is that the F4D feels more stiff, presumably due to more lacquer or stiffener. They are both really nice and substantial in the hand.
