I bought a Trialmaster at a bike shop in Cheltenham about 33 years ago as i wanted a decent waterproof for the daily 15 mile bike commute. It was an excellent jacket, comfortable and waterproof. Cost me about £35 then, quite expensive I thought!
Just looked them up on the Belstaff UK site and...
I was thrown out of the 1st Llandaff troop in Cardiff after three weeks for "Having a bad attitude"! My crime was to show the scoutmaster how to do a proper sheepshank knot after he'd made a pig's ear out of it!
My father was ex Royal Navy and we spent many hours tying knots together and I knew...
Your wish is my command Bfd70! Not the best photos I'm afraid.
Or I would upload some photos If it would let me. Can't seem to load direct from my computer. Presume they need a host site. Any ideas which?
Those Wested boots look pretty good Edward. Hadn't seen them before.

I've owned a pair of the roughout Iron Rangers for a few years now and they are an excellent boot. I've treated mine to an occasional helping of a walking boot...
A new three parter started on the BBC on Saturday night called Gunpowder about the plot starring Kit Harington who's also in something called Game of Thrones (?) as chief plotter Robert Catesby who was actually his ancestor!
Lots of complaints about the violence so far after an old lady was...
'Fraid not. I'm not one for recording everything! All I can say it that the alteration looks just like the original shoulders but narrower! Stitching just as good and the alpaca lining all matches too. A happy bunny!
A while back, I won an Aero Highwayman in an unworn condition on ebay. Lovely jackets except the shoulders were so wide it looked as if I still had the coat hanger in when I wore it!
Decided to try to get it altered a few weeks ago and did a search for someone who could do a decent job fairly...
Well I'm Welsh born and bred though I live in England now. When I was a nipper, it was Breakfast, Dinner, Tea and occasionally supper before bed, which was usually a bowl of cereal. Tea was about 6pm when my father got home.
Dinner at midday I came back from school (never had a school dinner!)...
Turned out to be about the fraud squad catching a gang of Romanians selling none existant vehicles through ebay.
To be honest, I couldn't imagine buying a vehicle without seeing it first!
Gareth
last time I had a pair of jeans like that, I'd just dodged a huge pothole in a country lane and hit a pile of mud mixed with liberal cowpats and fell off the bike!
Hi Asha
Your jacket is the same as the Drifter I bought from SB's outlet a few years ago, same leather too, except yours is rather narrower than mine, me being on the large side! Mine is slowly getting there but still quite stiff!
Mine doesn't have the lining in the cuffs though, straight...
I have a Dunn & Co bowler I wear when playing squeezebox with my morris team and also one of their flat caps I bought at the shop many years ago.
It was a good, traditional menswear shop when I went there occasionally. Bit like Are You Being Served! The staff called me Sir which I always found...
