FS: Aero Premier Highwayman size 38, lightweight CXL

Thanks. I like the fit as well, but I need something heftier, a bit more armorish, hehe.

FS: Aero Premier Highwayman size 38, lightweight CXL

The jacket has seen little wear and is in very good condition. Super comfortable all around, no stiffness present. As much as I tried to like it, it’s just too lightweight for me (prefer heavy CXL). Approximate measurements (taken with a soft tape measure with the jacket slightly stretched)...

    Advice on custom Aero (Ridley)

I have read some user reports that the more recent CXL steerhide batches have been a lot thinner (at c. 1.3 mm) compared to the standard 1.75 mm thickness, which might explain why you found your jacket easy to break in. At 1.75-2 mm, a jacket will essentially never become that soft/pliable...

    Advice on custom Aero (Ridley)

I have handled three new FQHH jackets over the past 2-3 years. Only one of them (the one I kept, premier HB in FQHH) was slightly stiff during the first few days, but the jacket was broken in after two weeks' time. Now it's almost as soft as Schott's steerhide. Breaking in a 1.8-2.0 mm CXL...

    Advice on custom Aero (Ridley)

The above post was in response to marauf (forgot to tag). But yeah, I haven't ordered the jacket yet. Hope to do it at some point in the future, though.

    Advice on custom Aero (Ridley)

I have a 37.5" chest and I know from experience that a 21.5" P2P (such as on the size 40 Ridley) will be way too loose/big, regardless of the choice of leather.

Hey. Sorry, I haven't ordered it yet. Pretty sure I'll go with size 38, though!

    Aero lining

If you already have a brown jacket, I'd definitely go with cordovan if I were you. Black leather looks fairly boring to my mind.

Aero Perfection - my new Cordovan FQHH Ridley

How does the jacket look now? Evolved a lot? Got any new pics? Thanks in advance ; ) Considering the same setup (Ridley + heavy Cordovan CXLFQHH).

FS: Late 60s Schott cafe racer (size 38)

Apparently deadstock from the late 60s or early 70s. Worn it only a handful of times. Selling it, as I already have enough jackets and I'm no collector. With my measurements - chest 96 cm, height 182 cm, slim build - the jacket fits like an Aero board racer (essentially a shirt-like fit). Some...
