That purple dress could totally go for that price in SF, but yeah, I wouldn't say that is really the norm. I'm in the process of making my own modified rag rollers. I use Hot Sticks when I want curls quick, but they don't stay in as long as when I sleep on rollers. Sleeping on rollers is so uncomfortable... especially right now while I'm pregnant and have a hard enough time getting comfy as it is... -

I thought you were supposed to buy them to fit on the loosest hooks. This makes more sense since you could then tighten it as it stretches. I have a degree in fashion design... I know how to sew. Quality women's hats are mostly made by hand... tiny stitches that take time. Plus, a lot of the materials that are used in hats, heavy wool felts and buckram, aren't easy to sew through which adds more time. For that hat, she had to...- decodoll
