Yes, I still offer discounts for "guinea pigs", but my costs have increased quite a bit since that post (part of the reason is I am using a much better jacket cutter and higher quality leather supplier now). Drop me a line if you're interested.

I know I'm in the VAST minority here on this issue, but the example you just stated above has almost nothing at all to do with bicycles and riding. She fell over. Ladders can be just as dangerous, but I don't wear a helmet going up one.
As for the rest, I see the point everyone is making but...
The photos look great! That back design is one of my personal favorites, which is why I used it again on my "Vintage Adventure Jacket" (my own daily-wear jacket).

Wow, thunderw21... your coat is VERY similar to the one I just got myself:
Though I have a feeling yours was a little cheaper than mine! :o

I found this thread quite funny at the time because I could say anything but now that the book has been released... I can finally say I worked on this book! :D
It was a team effort, but I did most of the illustrations, many inserts and generally assisted with the text and layout. It was a...
I was recently commissioned to reproduce Snake Plissken's jacket from Escape from New York (and L.A.):
As it turns out, this jacket seems to be genuine vintage and not made for the film. Fans of this jacket were on the quest for years and just as we were beginning, an original sample...
Another accessory would be a broad, square-shouldered overcoat, with the collar stood up. This look certainly has that "intimidation factor" it sounds like you may be going for...

Another point to consider is the idea of the MIB is being able to blend in and have no distinguishing marks. So, based on this, I would say the traditional MIB suit would be:
Single-breasted, two button closure
Notched lapels
No pocket flaps
No rear vent
